OUR STORY

Torts Gayner Catering was founded in 2023 by husband and wife chefs Torts and Toby Gayner, both highly qualified with extensive experience in London’s hospitality industry. After years working in professional kitchens, they chose to step away from traditional restaurant life to build something more personal, flexible and creatively driven together.

As a family run business at its core, Torts Gayner Catering was created around shared values of care, quality and a deeply client focused approach. From the beginning, they set out to offer a more bespoke catering experience where every menu and event is tailored rather than standardised, and every detail reflects the individuality of the client.

What started with small private gatherings and word of mouth recommendations quickly grew into a highly in demand catering company known for its refined food, thoughtful service and personal touch. Now heading into 2026 and beyond, the business continues to grow significantly, delivering an increasing number of weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. Despite this growth, it remains firmly family run, with Torts and Toby still at the heart of every event, ensuring each occasion feels considered, memorable and genuinely special.
